Help with Scrapbooking Concordia's History
A group has begun to meet the first Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m., to prepare a set of scrap books that will present a highlighted overview of the first 50 years of the congregation's history. Others have worked on scrap books for the congregation before, so the project does not need to begin from scratch, but primarily from the last twenty years or so. Even if you do not have mush first-hand information, you can contribute by identifying what would be appealing to you for telling the church's story from all the materials available, and by bringing your sense of effective presentation to the project.
Continue to Pray for Our Members Who Are Missing from the Fold
As Jesus cares for all of His sheep, it is right for us to care as well. May we all pray for our inactive members, that they may return to an active fellowship in worship with Him and, if possible, also with us. If you know someone who is a member whom you have not seen in church for some time, call that person, send an e-mail, drop a note, stop by. We need for us all to be together as much as those we have not seen for a while.
